Code-Red : The Zombie Hunter!


This is one of my latest Mudbox Sculptures, I decided to make an environment and try and tell a little story for the sculpture. I painted the figures textures in mudbox, so they are more my painting style than real looking...

The Process: I stated with a box in Maya, extruded a simple box figure and posed it, Imported into Mudbox and started sculpting. I could not use symmetry because of the pose, which made it more difficult, especially the hands and feet. But was great learning practice. All the clothes where also simple box base meshes I sculpted around the figure. Even the Hair and Eye Lashes where sculpted. The Environment was also texture inside Mudbox. Beds, Chainsaw and little accessories I modeled in Maya. Rendered with Mental Ray
